A ideia de uma sequência de imagens que fluíssem de forma suave, nunca perdendo o apelo visual e assumindo uma montagem aparentemente ocasional, pareceu-nos logo o processo mais eficaz.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="PT" style="font-family:Tahoma;">Tal como em anteriores projectos por nós desenvolvidos – como o teledisco Bad Mirror / The Vicious Five - <span style=""> </span>considerámos interessante a ideia de elaborar analogicamente toda a estrutura do vídeo. Isto é, conseguir efeitos aparentemente conotados com processos digitais de uma forma analógica. Para tal recorremos à gravação de imagens de materiais líquidos, provocando reacções entre esses mesmos materiais: água, tintas, gorduras, colorantes, diluentes e bebidas.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="PT" style="font-family:Tahoma;">Quisemos também utilizar as possibilidades dos espelhos reais de forma a conseguir determinados efeitos, geralmente conotados com os “filtros” digitais.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="PT" style="font-family:Tahoma;">Captámos então imagens dos materiais e dos músicos, assumindo uma plasticidade fotográfica de <i style="">alto contraste</i> , nunca esquecendo a posterior relação de sobreposição entre as imagens dos materiais e as dos músicos.<o:p></o:p></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="PT" style="font-family:Tahoma;">Dado o procedimento por nós utilizado, a criação do vídeo acabou por radicar fundamentalmente na fase de captação das imagens.
